Veeam Certified Architect (VMCA)

The VMCA (Veeam Certified Architect) is the highest level of Veeam technical certifications. The VMCA certification demonstrates that an administrator, engineer or architect has the necessary skills to design, deploy and optimize Veeam Availability Suite either in enterprise environments or in a professional services capacity.

What do you need to become a Veeam Certified Architect (VMCA)?

Step 1: Required prerequisites

You must have completed the VMCE certification track prior to starting the VMCA track.

Step 2: Attend a training course

Attend the two-day Veeam Backup and Replication v11: Architecture and Design (VBRv11AD) training course. You'll gain the skills to effectively size, scope, design, optimize, automate and troubleshoot a Veeam Availability Suite deployment.

Step 3: Pass the VMCA exam

To schedule the VMCA exam, login to your Veeam.com account and follow the link to Pearson VUE. Select Global Knowledge as your testing center. The passing score for the VMCA exam is 70% or higher.

Recertification

Engineers are required to keep current on VMCE and VMCA certifications in order to maintain their Veeam Certified Architect status.
